Meditation for Life
This four-week Meditation for Life online class in meditation will provide an overview of basic skills to understand and practice meditation as a lifetime practice of mindfulness and compassion. You will learn how to meditate sitting and walking, understanding how your body, emotions and thoughts are all important elements in meditation.
With wise intention you will learn a path to mindfulness, loving-kindness and compassion to help you and the world around you find more peace, joy and presence. This course is based on the Meditation Teacher Training Program by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
Meditation for Life Overview; mindful presence; mindfulness of breath and body.
Mindfulness of Emotions and Feelings; sitting meditation.
Thoughts and the story telling mind; walking meditation.
Cultivating loving-kindness and compassion for self and others; practicing ‘RAIN’ – Recognize, Allow, Investigate, Nurture; Review of Meditation Principles.
*Two four week sets of the same classes will be held at different times to accommodate schedules:

Session #2 Monday classes are FULL and registration is now closed.
Wednesdays– 2:00 – 3:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 7/29/20, 8/5/20, 8/12/20, and 8/19/20.
Mondays – 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 8/10, 8/17, 8/24/, and 8/31.
The Meditation for Life classes will be presented by Karen Wilson, and 100% of your donation will support the work of Jayn’s Memorial Fund.
Jayn dedicated her life to developing programs and materials to share the teachings of Soul Support Systems. She was an absolute master of soul-centered creation, lifting the lives of the people with whom she collaborated.
